LESSONS AND LOVERS - review by Kirra Pierce for Just Erotic Romance Reviews Hettie is an upper class English lady who has been recently widowed. As her beloved husband grew weak and unable to perform sexually with Hettie, he sent his loyal and very attractive servant Starr to meet these needs. Starr behaves as the perfect but remote servant except for the moments of release he allows himself with Hettie. Could he be withholding more passionate feelings? Now Hettie has a houseguest, Darryl, who is just incredibly attractive but also suffers from amnesia. Could Hettie’s attraction to this charming man finally cause a break in Starr’s iron self control and lead to an admission of his feelings for Hettie? What a terrifically well-told story. Everything just flows smoothly in this book. Hettie is a young, beautiful, rich, and recently widowed woman who despite her sorrow over her husband’s passing is given the comfort of her flawless servant cum lover, Starr. Starr is as remote and beautiful as his name suggests except for when he makes love to Hettie. At least, that is all he allows to show. I was immediately intrigued by this coolly passionate figure. Was his multi orgasm inducing love making so good because he deeply cared for Hettie or was it because he excels at everything he attempts? As the story progresses, more of how Starr uses the formality of the master/servant relationship to hide his feelings is revealed…sometimes in a very hot manner. Two additional characters play significant roles in the story: Darryl, who suffers from amnesia, and Stevie who is Hettie’s confidant and a doctor. One of the things Darryl can’t remember is what sex is like. Can you say temptation? Stevie provides important aid to both Hettie and Darryl. These four characters mesh well in the story and each plays a significant role. And sex anyone? The sex in this book is absolutely panty wetting, varied and plentiful. Every touch feels right. This is a story of true love and the courage to overcome preconceptions and speak from your heart. It is excellent. Reviewer: Kirra Pierce Ebook published November 2006 - click
